Project Background
Since 2013, BAO has been supplying customized conveyor belts to multiple cement production lines engineered and operated by SINOMA in Eastern China. These facilities feature state-of-the-art rotary kilns and clinker cooling systems, where conveyor belts play a critical role in transporting abrasive limestone, raw meal, and extremely hot clinker directly from the kiln outle

SINOMA’s cement production teams encountered recurring issues with conventional conveyor belts in these high-intensity zones:
Extreme Heat
Fresh clinker exiting the kiln often reached surface temperatures of 160–180°C, causing rapid degradation, cracking, and cover separation in standard belts.

Through detailed technical consultations and thorough analysis of SINOMA’s operating parameters—including temperature profiles, material characteristics, and conveyor layouts—BAO recommended and supplied specialized high-performance EP fabric core heat-resistant conveyor belts:
Advanced Heat Resistance
T3-grade construction with high-performance EPDM/Butyl blend cover rubber, rated for continuous material temperatures up to 150°C and peak belt surface temperatures of 180°C.
Exceptional Abrasion Resistance
Optimized cover compounds delivering abrasion loss <150 mm³ (target grade), significantly outperforming DIN 22102 requirements for prolonged service in abrasive clinker environments.
Robust Strength
EP 315–630 N/mm tensile strength options, with ply adhesion >4.5 N/mm and overall tensile strength >18 MPa, ensuring stability under heavy loads and impact.
Additional Features
Anti-static properties and customized edge designs to suit inclined and high-impact transfer points common in modern cement lines.
